2013 was an amazing year for Alexis! She turned four and started preschool at Lord of Life Lutheran Church. One of her favorite things to do is dance and twirl. She attends ballet class once a week and participated in two dance recitals this year. In May, she rode on a big plane to visit in Kansas. While there, she had fun visiting the zoo and playing with her cousins. During the summer she attended her first year of VBS, did a week long dance camp and also spent an entire week up at "Camp Grandmas". She loves to play outside in the sandbox and swing on the swings at Grandmas. In October, Papa John and Gigi visited and were able to tag along with Alexis on her field trip to the pumpkin patch. For Halloween she was Rapunzel and wore a homemade costume (by our nanny, Ali). During our family vacation to Hawaii she swam with a mermaid and happily played for hours in the sand. Alexis has a delightful personality and lights up the room when she walks in. She is beautiful and genuine with a care-free spirit that teaches me to live in the moment. She truly is a gift from God.
